McKinsey Sales Presentation

McKinsey and Company hired Omnitech Consulting Group, one of our clients, to create a sales presentation for their consultants to use to discuss Procurement Supply Management engagements with their clients and prospects.

Most people (including me initially) don't even know what PSM is. It sounds like the type of subject about as interesting as someone else's root canal and potentially mind-numbing if someone begins to explain it to you.

How do you make it interesting? Keep the eyes entertained and the mind will follow. I'm told they decided not to use this once they saw it. Not because they didn't like it. Quite the opposite. The consultant role is to be the center of knowledge. After seeing this, one said there was nothing he could add that would make it more compelling. What was expected to be a tool threatened to be a replacement. Can it!
